Maheshwar is the home of one of India's finest handloom fabric traditions. Since Rehwa Society is an NGO, our aim was to give women employment and revive the town's textiles.
Rehwa’s textiles are popular throughout the country, and are gaining global appeal due to the various international exhibitions held every year by the management.
Rehwa produces sarees, dupattas, fabrics, shawls and scarves as part of the fashion line.
The home line showcases cushion covers, runners, table linen, bed linen and curtain panels.
The textiles produced are handwoven using yarns like silk, cotton, linen, wool, and tussar.
Rehwa Society also provides a free school for the weavers' children and runs a low-cost health scheme. We welcome help to our school and health programs.
